Blanqa and Van Raalten imports start up a collaboration for the distribution of Blanqa's signature products: heirloom Sicilian almonds and pistachios in the Netherlands.
Paul Van Raalten, renown as one of Holland's best ingredients selector will be the ambassador of the best almonds and pistachio to be delivered to the best restauraters and pastry chefs of the Crown of Holland.

"San Basilio and Blanqa will attend the 34th Winter Fancy Food
Basilio olive oils and almonds and other products of Blanqa will
be part of the tasting organized for the 2009 edition of the Winter
Fancy Food in San Francisco. It will be possible to taste the new
harvest of DUE SICILIE: the extra virgin olive oil born out of the
fortunate marriage of Sicily's Nocellara del Belice and Moresca
olives. This product aims to represent two different terroirs of
Sicily where Nocellara and Moresca are grown. An attempt to
express the variety and mistery of the world's most beautiful island
through its flavors.
This year's will be the first Winter Fancy Food for Blanqa: the
new venture born out of San Basilio's experience in food to help
artisans to express themselves through outstanding raw ingredients
of Sicily like the almonds from Val di Noto, pistachios of Raffadali,
Marsala wines and much more.
